Purpose

To flash BIOS for Intel PineView platform (Avalue PNV series products) under MSDOS environment.

Test Environment:

SBC: ECM-PNV-C1
O.S: MSDOS
BIOS Flash Too: AMI Firmware Update Utility v4.39
USB key: ADATA C008 16GB USB 2.0

How to flash BIOS for ECM-PNV

1. Prepare a MSDOS bootable USB key.
2. Unzip and copy BIOS file with flash tool to this USB key.

3. Insert this USB key and turn on power.
4. Change path to the folder of BIOS file and flash tool.
5. Run following command to start flash BIOS.
Or use AMI flash tool with parameter as: AFUDOS.exe “BIOS file name” /P /B /N /X

6. After BIOS flash finished, please turn off power 10 seconds and turn on power again.
7. Enter to BIOS Setup screen by DEL, and change to Exit tab.
8. Load Optimal Defaults, then Save Changes and Exit.

9. To check BIOS version and your customization conditional is correct.
