Purpose

Update touch controller firmware for CAXA0 (Windows/Android).
● Method-1, Page.2~5 : Flash Touch Firmware by eGalaxSensorTester3 (with test)
● Method-2, Page.6~13 : Flash Touch Firmware by eGalaxUpdate2 and run test

Environment:

Test Sample = CAXA0
Touch Firmware:
● for Android 8.1 = 04-test (eGalaxWorks31xx31xx~20200720-Henghao-3156-v04-test.zip)
● for Windows 10 = 04 (eGalaxWorks3146_20200731-Henghao_3156_05_ESD.zip)
O.S = Windows 10 IoT 2019 LTSC 64bit English (version.1809, OS build: 17763.1579)
Graphic Driver= 21.20.16.4565
USB stick= Need 32MB space

Update touch firmware (Method-1)

1. Boot into Windows Desktop.
2. Insert USB stick and run eGalaxSensorTester3.exe

3. Check the current touch firmware version, then click “Start Test !!”
● Window touch firmware current version: 04
● Android touch firmware current version: 04-test

4. It will show running message, please don’t touch it.

5. After successful update, it will show Pass !!
6. Then please click OK to exit.

Update touch firmware (Method-2)

1. Boot into Windows Desktop.
2. Insert USB stick and run eGalaxUpdate2.exe

3. Check the current touch firmware version, then click “Go!”
● Window touch firmware current version: 04
● Android touch firmware current version: 04-test
