Purpose

Use HashMyFile tool to generate a MD5 file for image checking.


An MD5 file is a checksum file used to verify the integrity of a disc image. It stores a checksum, which is a value created from an algorithm based on the number of bits in the file. MD5 files function similarly to human fingerprints. They are unique and are used to verify identity.

  • 1. Downlaod the latest hashmyfiles from the official website. The link is below
  • https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/hash_my_files.html
  • 2. Execute the program to open up hashmyfiles applcaiton

3. Select “Add files” to load the target iso file. Ex, ServiceHubSoftwareR.iso

4. The iso file is loading

5. After the loading process is completed, select the file name and save the file as MD5

6. The MD5 file will look like the one below and this is the format used by Avalue in production line.
