Avalue took the initiative to become the central factory in the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Bureau's energy efficiency improvement and management program. We have organized a supply chain energy-saving system, aligning with government policies and following the PDCA cycle.

Starting with Avalue's headquarters and factory, we are leading our supply chain in systematic energy-saving efforts, continuously monitoring and reviewing the implementation of improvements, and making rolling adjustments. Our goal is to foster a community of practice among supply chain partners, enhance energy-saving awareness, and achieve win-win outcomes through collective energy-saving efforts.

Avalue is committed to conducting business with respect for, protection of, and improvement of the environment. We implement comprehensive quality management at every stage of manufacturing and design. Furthermore, we are dedicated to realizing a green manufacturing vision, from initial design and raw material procurement to production processes, product transportation, customer use, and end-of-life disposal. We are committed to the 3Rs (Reuse, Recycle, Reduce) to minimize energy consumption and prevent harmful substances throughout the product lifecycle.

In response to globalization, Avalue has developed a comprehensive Supplier Environmental Management Questionnaire, assessing suppliers against five key dimensions: labor rights, business ethics, safety and health, environmental protection, and management efficiency. This questionnaire serves as a prerequisite for becoming a qualified supplier. Avalue requires suppliers to adhere to relevant regulations regarding environmental protection, occupational safety and health, and labor rights.

In recent years, climate change and hazardous substances in products have become significant issues in corporate social responsibility. Our company has identified these issues as key priorities for our green supply chain management. For instance, we have incorporated various environmental policies, such as RoHS 2.0, into our internal management procedures. Through our green supply chain information management platform, we’re able to effectively manage risks. All materials used in our products not only fully comply with RoHS 2.0 standards but also meet the following environmental regulations:

• The EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and (EU) 2015/863, which restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
  
  
• As well as the requirements for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) and Annex 17 under the EU REACH Regulation EC 1907/2006.

Avalue is committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, respecting human rights, and addressing the issue of conflict minerals. Through diligent due diligence, we have implemented a robust minerals management program to ensure that the gold, tantalum, tungsten, and tin in our products do not originate from mines controlled by armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo or neighboring countries. Moreover, we require our suppliers to adhere to the following conflict minerals sourcing policy:

• Conduct supply chain due diligence in accordance with the OECD Guidelines for Due Diligence on Mineral Supply Chains from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, with a particular focus on conflict-affected and high-risk regions.
  
  
• Comply with all relevant regional and international regulations regarding conflict minerals.
  
  
• Purchase and report on conflict minerals in accordance with industry standards.
  
  
• Require suppliers to communicate this requirement to their upstream suppliers.
